Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa

big hotel in winter

As we say goodbye to Aspen, we head down CO Route 82 towards Beaver Creek, approximately two hours by car. While most famed Western ski resorts had humble beginnings as mining towns, Beaver Creek was developed solely to be a resort town. Our favorite place in BC is the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa, offering year-round pampering and indulgence in the heart of Colorado’s Vail Valley. Located at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain, you’ll be tempted to solve the world’s problems as you take in awe-inspiring views from the gondola for a winter ski-in/ski-out or some summer hiking and biking. Later, relax in Beaver Creek Village for dining, shopping and year-round events. The resort boasts 190 rooms and suites with all the best amenities. The activities here are as varied as every member of the family: Beaver Creek Golf Club; Kids S'mores Happy Hour, the Ivy League of Ski Schools next door, and of course, world class skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, river rafting, fishing, hiking and biking. WIT is here to plan the ultimate Beaver Creek vacation tailored to your wants and needs. Whether we plan a night ski adventure or foraging in the Rockies with a local chef, when you book with WIT, we are delighted to add daily breakfast for two guests per room, $100 resort credit, early check-in/late check-out and upgrade on arrival, subject to availability. While at the Park Hyatt, schedule a visit to Exhale Spa. The zen-like atmosphere is a total wellbeing experience with Aqua Sanitas Water Sanctuary, full line of spa treatments, heated indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, fitness center, Pilates, Barre and yoga classes and a full-service hair salon. For a sensory delight, try the Colorado Wild Rose Cure warm rose compresses, meant to calm the nervous system in preparation for a rose shea butter and wildflower body scrub. A lavender bath with essential oils follows. Then, relax with a custom full body massage using a rose geranium body butter. They already had us at warm rose compresses!
