In Naples The Ritz-Carlton has carved out a space that encompasses virtually anything an active family would need during their summer vacation or annual escape from winter weather! More than a beach resort, so much more than a golfer’s haven; The Ritz-Carlton boasts two properties that are a quick and easy shuttle ride away.
The separation from the two properties should not be viewed as disadvantageous – rather a peaceful opportunity to enjoy two different experiences under the exquisite care of The Ritz-Carlton hospitality geniuses. My family stayed at the luxury The Ritz-Carlton Naples destination and seamlessly enjoyed the offerings of the The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Naples. I’ll do my best to notate which offerings are held where – but as they’re both easily accessible I think it’s best to include them together right here!
Pure white sand hugs the shoreline at The Ritz-Carlton Naples, with miles of beaches meant for walking, that alone kept me active throughout my stay! (I like to think of walking the beach barefoot as nature’s pedicure – and take some time to really be mindful of the feeling of the ultra soft sand under my feet.) We took full advantage of the poolside cabana offerings – and I truly enjoyed the hospitable service while playing with the family in the pristine pool! Renting a cabana helps keep all of our stuff under one “home base” where the kids and I can escape from the sun, sip, snack, and relax when we’re not playing ultimate Marco-Polo.
Sunshine, seaside shopping at Waterside Shops, family fun activities, and nights out for mom and dad are some of the main attractions that make Naples one of our favorite Florida destinations. The artisanal eateries and unique boutiques on Fifth Avenue make the perfect day trip while the Ritz-Kids programming keeps our youngest kids ready for action every day. Is there anything better than being able to shop for all of your favorites while taking in ocean views and breathing the fresh sea air?
Dining Out at The Ritz-Carlton Naples
If you’ve been craving Vitamin-Sea, you’re in luck. Many of the property’s restaurants are right on the water. I’m not sure there’s a better way to enjoy a chilled Rosé! I loved Dusk for dinner – a sushi spot with a retro-boardwalk feel. Chris and I both loved the look and feel of Terrazza, which opens up to the outdoors, making it feel like you’re dining on the beach – but you’re safe from the elements in the event of a quick Florida rain shower.
=H2O + had plenty of healthy options to nibble on during spa services – and because the spa is open to guests and spa members only, the service is exclusive and impeccable – just as you’ve come to love and expect from The Ritz-Carlton.
Fresh fish and lighter dishes showcasing crisp produce are abundant in every restaurant at this property and The Ritz-Carlton Golf destination. Lemonía’s weekend breakfast buffet is the stuff of legends – so plan for some extra activity that day to balance out your scrumptious indulgences (so worth it!)
There’s a Fresh Market grocery just off the property in Naples that we used to grab everything we needed while we were out and about exploring! This was perfect for those in-between meal times because we were able to fuel the kids up with some healthy and fresh snacks before putt-putt golf without sitting down at a restaurant. As usual, I packed our rooms full of fresh fruits, veggies, and some of our favorite “tastes of home.”
My Favorite Spa and Fitness Finds at The Ritz-Carlton Naples
My first time experiencing the Organic Seaweed Leaf Wrap, I knew I’d found a new favorite treatment and I’ve truly become obsessed with VOYA brand, their story, and their incredible line of products.. Anything that’s completely natural, yet packed with health benefits like anti-aging properties and antioxidants is something you can bet I’m going to try. Now I’ve had this treatment more than a few times, and I have even purchased the products to recreate the seaweed baths in my home! The body brushing and lotion post-treatment are just as therapeutic to me as the seaweed wrap itself!
Working out with a gorgeous view of the pool helped keep me motivated! Knowing I was just moments away from a brisk dip kept my heart in the game. I didn’t take advantage of their incredible personal training sessions – but they offer that and fantastic cycling, yoga, and Pilates classes featuring a Cadillac and Reformer. Fitnesses classes are offered throughout the day, but you’re free to enjoy the gym 24 hours a day making it easy to get your workout in before or after your other activities.
Naples is absolutely loaded with different activities for everyone. We like visiting local shops and trying new places every time we go! We’ve found that The Ritz-Carlton Naples and The Ritz-Carlton Naples Golf Resort offers the perfect balance of amenities for our family while visiting Southwestern Florida!
