NEW MEXICO

sunset view of mountains and plants

Santa Fe is like an old soul – a place that is grounded in history, deep in culture, home to sweeping landscapes and radiating of chili-centric local cuisine. Sitting at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo range at an altitude of over 7000 ft., Santa Fe was founded in 1610 and is the oldest state capital in the United States. For adventurers, the location is ideal for hiking, biking, horseback riding, and skiing. It is also a global center for arts and culture, and ranks as the country’s third largest art marketplace, as well as home to the internationally renowned, Santa Fe Opera Summer Festival established in 1956. As the curtain rises, the open-air opera house showcases some of the most amazing Santa Fe sunsets. Be in the know, and plan to preshow tailgate in the parking lot, for great people watching. For truly unique local immersion, Santa Fe is home to 19 different Native American Pueblos with cultural attractions at every turn. Located about 65 miles from Albuquerque International Airport or with direct flights into Santa Fe Airport from Denver, Dallas and Phoenix, the Land of Enchantment, is calling your name.
