FOUR SEASONS RESORT SCOTTSDALE AT TROON NORTH, SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA

Green lanscaping

A golfer’s paradise, a sun soaked playground for the kids, and more wellness activities than I can fit into one blog piece make Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North a favorite for the entire Pronger family.

Overview of Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North

A distinctive addition to the Four Seasons family; we love this locale as it offers everything you can expect from the exquisite hospitality team at the Four Seasons with one of the best golf clubs in the country right in your backyard.

Cactus and desert

Handcrafted Native American art highlights the resort showcasing the genuine flavor of the Southwest. I love how the vibrant desert flowers pop against the sandy hued buildings here – where colors seem brighter and the sun seems to fill every space with energy! From the flavorful food to friendly faces assisting you throughout your stay, you’ll absolutely notice an attention to detail that’s unmatched here.

Golfing and Outdoor Wellness Activities

This destination gives our family the perfect balance of healthy activities that we all enjoy which makes it special – as any large family knows that can be quite a feat!

Golfers and nature enthusiasts alike love how the sunny climate of the Southwest makes it extra inviting to get outside and enjoy your surroundings. Chris and I both enjoy time on the course and often throughout our vacations we’ll golf together then he’ll hit the links again solo to enjoy some alone time. (During that time you can find me and the kids swimming, shopping, or indulging in some other outdoor activities dad may not prefer!) This property makes access to The Monument (par-72) and The Pinnacle (par-71) incredibly convenient, both courses bring a change of scenery and challenge that make them each a must! Family friendly note: you can bring children under fifteen to the course before 3pm for complimentary play and pro instruction.

While visiting Four Seasons Troon, please take my recommendation and venture on the Pinnacle Peak Park guided hike. Every member of the Pronger family loves this experience as it’s not incredibly challenging and the views offer a spectacular payout in addition to the healthy benefits! Here you can enjoy the beauty of the Sonoran Desert with your family and look over the abundance and shining scenes of the city, too! The spa and fitness center at the resort also offer a Zen Hike, where you’re guided throughout the surrounding desert and able to experience special locales while taking pause to practice yoga.

The resort’s views make dining, swimming, and lounging outside of your casita an absolutely serene experience. Mountains and hills paint the sky around you, cliffs, rocks, and varied levels of desert greenery make up a seamlessly endless ocean of possibility all around you.

Family Fun in Scottsdale and Phoenix

Of course, there’s a variety of aerial desert tours available in addition to hiking and golfing. If you’re able to try both I highly recommend taking the once in a lifetime opportunity to see where you’re visiting from every angle! So breathtaking! Family fun options in both Scottsdale and Phoenix are abundant. We’ve had the pleasure of exploring both of these novel cities and I love mixing in a variety of new, never-experienced shops and tours with our favorite spots!

Spa Services I Love at Four Seasons Troon North

Adjacent to the spectacular fitness center, the spa is full of regionally inspired wellness services I adore. The Jojoba and Prickly Pear Polish deeply exfoliates from head to toe, after a relaxing and revitalizing scrub you’re enveloped in jojoba oils making your skin smooth as silk. This spa offers something special I’ve hardly seen anywhere else: the opportunity to create a custom body polish and body butter! You can work with an Alchemista to design a signature scent and formulation to improve your skin’s health and your mood. I also love the Sonoran Honey Body Polish experience and I could go on for days about the healthy benefits local honey can have for your body both inside and out!

There’s an endless variety of combinations of wellness treatments, relaxation services, and amenities that can be paired at Four Seasons Troon North to create your very own wellness retreat and I do during every visit!

Something for the Foodies

True to the region, the menu highlights the flavors of the Southwest I crave! Chris loves Talavera, a steakhouse with the highest quality cuts seared to perfection (I’m a huge fan of their vibrant and fiery decor including hand painted pottery created by regional artists.) You can munch and lunch on lighter options like fresh ceviche by the pool while visiting Sagauro Blossom.

There’s certainly no compromise of flavor for health at the resort’s dining locales and the concierge is eager to connect you with a variety of off-resort hot spots and family friendly attractions, too.

Gathering as a family at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North is always a treat. Making memories in the striking Sonoran Desert is a tradition that Chris and I hope to share with our children and their children for many years to come!
