We all know by now that Nashville, Tennessee is where the heart of country music lives. What you may not be aware of is the explosion of trendy restaurants, incredible dual- concept bars, and sought after shopping that has popped up throughout this city in the last decade.
In the last five years, the Nashville demand (otherwise known as hotel rooms sold) grew faster than any other top 30 U.S. city. Similar to our hometown of St. Louis, Nashville is broken up by several neighborhoods: the Gulch, Five Points, Hillsboro, and East Nashville, to name a few. Each neighborhood has a unique vibe and incredible shops and restaurants where you can easily spend an entire afternoon perusing. Nashville has quickly become one of the trendiest cities to get away to and we think The Noelle is a fabulous spot to kick your boots off when you get there! Upon check-in to our Superior King room, Chris and I freshened up while we took in the modern decor of our quarters, including custom artwork and handcrafted pottery. The decor of The Noelle is a direct reflection of the community of talented artists that make up Nashville. One of my favorite perks of staying at The Noelle was the 24-hour in room dining service, because the staff clearly know that their guests are coming home well past midnight with an appetite from dancing on Broadway!
After we were settled, we went to the rooftop to enjoy a happy hour cocktail at Rare Bird, which has quite possibly the best view of downtown Nashville. I recommend ordering the October Jewel, which features mezcal, lemon, angostura, apple and cinnamon--the perfect cold weather concoction to warm you up from the inside out! The Noelle also has the perfect brunch spot, Makeready L&L, as well as Drug Store Coffee, a cute spot to grab an espresso and quick snack before heading out the door. However, our favorite spot at The Noelle is their best kept secret--Hidden Bar. Located beneath the hotel, Hidden Bar is the place where experimental cocktails are the norm and the vibe is more eclectic than your wildest dreams.
Located in the heart of downtown, guests of The Noelle have the advantage of being within walking distance of some of Nashville’s most popular spots, including the seemingly endless row of live music bars on Broadway, as well as the legendary Ryman Auditorium. Pinewood Social is nearby, which is a bar and restaurant with a full vintage bowling alley inside and a pool—a great stop for bachelor and bachelorette parties.
Some say no visit to Nashville is complete without a stop at the Bluebird Cafe—that is, if you can get a seat. The Bluebird Cafe is where famous songwriters are known to drop in and perform their hits in one of the most intimate settings you’ll find in the city. If you’re looking to venture out for a delicious brunch, we recommend Biscuit Love in Hillsboro, and if you have a sweet tooth, you can’t go wrong with The Soda Parlor in East Nashville. You can find mouth-watering burgers and a fabulous outdoor beer garden at The Pharmacy, and if you’re looking to keep things light, we highly recommend True Food Kitchen in Green Hills—one of our favorites.
The Noelle in Nashville, Tennessee is the ideal home base for bachelor and bachelorette parties, or an extended weekend with your girlfriends. The energy of Nashville and abundance of incredible musicians on every corner should inspire you to pack your most comfortable cowboy boots, as you’ll be dancing your way through the city!
